Served as Web Manager for daniels.du.edu, a 3,000+ page ecosystem, leading a comprehensive website overhaul focused on improving structure, usability, and scalability across the College’s digital presence.
The project established the foundational site architecture, navigation patterns, and content frameworks that continue to support the site today.
Design Approach:
Approached the redesign as a systems-driven initiative, prioritizing structure, clarity, and long-term usability across departments and content types.
Defined a unified site architecture to support 12+ programs and departmental content
Introduced scalable navigation patterns, including a streamlined hamburger menu system
Established content hierarchy and page templates to improve consistency and usability
Translated research and stakeholder input into structured UX and content frameworks
Impact:
96% task completion rate in user testing
+42% improvement in student navigation to program pages
+82% increase in faculty satisfaction with programmatic microsites
